Dewa United Enliven Esports Competition by Launching Special Division

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – Dewa United will be actively involved in electronic sports competition or Esports which is officially marked by the launch of a special division called Dewa United Esports in Tangerang, Thursday (18/2/2021). Apart from esports, Dewa United previously also had professional basketball and football teams.

“On this occasion I officially introduce our new team, Dewa United Esports,” said CEO of Dewa United Esports David in his opening remarks through an official release received by in Jakarta, Thursday.

Furthermore, David said, this team is determined to become a new club that contributes to the sports industry in the country, by producing outstanding young athletes. It also contains creative young people who continue to innovate, starting from talent search, mentoring to scoring champions.

“We chose the name Dewa United Esports because we have a desire to gather outstanding and talented players. We are constantly trying to improve our abilities so that we can be called gods in every division,” he said.

Currently, Dewa United Esports has several game divisions such as Mobile Legends, PUBG Mobile and Free Fire. Later, other game divisions will also be created, such as e-Football PES, Valorant, Wild Rift, and others. The special feature of Dewa United Esports that distinguishes them from other teams is their attention to local talents.

Dewa United Esports carries a vision to participate in developing esports and looking for new players from all over Indonesia. For now, there are nine cities that are in the early stages. The nine cities are Jakarta, Tangerang, Bandung, Solo, Surabaya, Denpasar, Makassar, Balikpapan and Palembang. Later, Dewa United Esports will also build headquarters in these cities.

“We believe that we can get more talented players by going directly through the Dewa United communities, which we plan to make more even in remote areas. The target is that there will be a Dewa United community manager from Sabang to Marauke,” David added.
