Cyberpunk Latest Update Fix Epilepsy Trigger, Crash, and Console Reflection

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – CD Projekt Red has released the latest Cyberpunk 2077 update, which is claimed to have fixed various issues throughout the quest, gameplay, and performance. The update is now available on PlayStation, PC and all platforms. The most significant change in this patch is the modification of the effect of blinking during brain circuits, which is claimed to trigger epilepsy sufferers to experience seizures.

CD Projekt Red says that the effect has been “smoothed out” and the flickering is reduced in terms of frequency and magnitude. In a post on Twitter, Game Informer journalist Liana Ruppert said she had been working with Cyberpunk developers to test the new animation.

Earlier last week, Liana Ruppert said she suffered one severe attack while playing Cyberpunk 2077, due to various in-game visual effects. This is also why CD Projekt Red added an epilepsy warning early in Cyberpunk 2077.

Additionally, the latest Cyberpunk 2077 patch includes a number of visual improvements, including reduced vehicle pop-ins and improved bounce quality on Xbox One and PS4. General stability has also been improved, while copyrighted songs have also been removed after previously appearing even though gamers enabled the “Disable Copyright Music” feature.

Cyberpunk 2077’s performance on the PS4 and Xbox One has been criticized, with Digital Foundry analysis calling performance on the PS4 console “terrible” and “messy”. Digital Foundry found that on the base PS4, the much-anticipated open-world game dropped to 15fps in some order, while the PS4 Pro dropped to 18fps but hit 30fps “more often.”
