Cloud9 Joins First Female VALORANT Team “Cloud9 White”.

Cloud9 has officially signed the first female professional Valorant team. The Cloud9 White team, previously known as the MAJKL Team, is known as the best all-female Valorant roster after placing first in the Ignition Invitational.

This tournament is the first high-profile women’s tournament to be hosted by Riot Games itself.

In this tournament, the MAJKL team dominated and managed to go unbeaten.

By joining Cloud9, Cloud9 White has officially become the first female team to be transported by a major organization.

Via Twitter, Cloud9 announced the arrival of their 5 new players namely, Alexis’alexis‘Guarrasi, Annie’AnnieDro‘Roberts, Jasmine’Jazzyk1ns‘Manankil, Melanie’meL‘ Capone, and ‘katsumi‘

The purpose of the Valorant wanita female roster

Cloud9’s senior vice president of Marketing, Kristin Salvatore, has confirmed that Cloud9 White will not play in the women’s league, instead they will play in the same league as the men’s team Cloud9.

Through his interview with GamesBeat, Salvatore stated that the two teams will train together and will compete against each other.

“We have two competitive teams, and our goal is to have one competitive team that has the best players.”

From this statement, it seems that Cloud9 has a target to create a Valorant team consisting of a mix of female and male players.

This is indeed very rarely seen in esports and will be the first time also in Valorant, however, it is not impossible.

As in Indonesia, the Bigetron Esports team has 4 male and 1 female players in the PUBG Mobile roster, namely BTR.Alice.

And it seems that this is the goal that Cloud9 wants to achieve, to provide a platform for female pro players to showcase their skills on the biggest stage of esports.
