ASUS Mainstay ROG Gaming Laptop Innovation, Balance Speed and Resolution

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – The gaming community is not only limited to esports. This makes ROG focus on developing display technology with IPS-level panels. Unlike other panel technologies, IPS-level is capable of performing with a fast refresh rate and short response time, but still has a wide viewing angle and high color reproduction capability. In 2021 ago, ROG was even able to present a ROG Zephyrus gaming laptop that carries a 300Hz panel but still has high and accurate color reproduction quality and is PANTONE Validated.

Using a high-resolution screen will also cause problems, because the higher the screen resolution, the lower the refresh rate. Previously, 4K UHD resolution screens could only appear with a 60Hz refresh rate, which of course is no longer the standard for gaming. For this reason, the ROG team presents the latest innovations that will raise industry standards on gaming laptop screens.

One of the latest innovations presented by the ROG team this time is on the ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE dual-screen gaming laptop. The gaming laptop has a variant that carries a 4K UHD screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a response time of 3ms. Not only that, the ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE screen has a high and accurate color reproduction rate with a color gamut of up to 100 percent in Adobe RGB and has PANTONE Validated certification.

Not only in the premium gaming laptop line, the ROG team is also committed to bringing these innovations so that it can be accessed by more gamers. In September 2021, ASUS ROG was the first gaming laptop manufacturer in the world to introduce a WQHD screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels which also comes with a refresh rate of up to 165Hz. This display technology will set a new standard in the gaming laptop industry and will be available on ROG gaming laptops such as the ROG Zephyrus G15, ROG Strix G15, and ROG Strix G17.

High-performance screens will not only be presented on large-screen gaming laptops. Gaming laptops with 14-inch screen sizes like the ROG Zephyrus G14 will also get an upgrade, namely a screen with a WQHD resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate. Just like the previous generation, ROG Zephyrus G14 also has a high and accurate color reproduction rate, and has pocketed the PANTONE Validated certification. This makes ROG Zephyrus G14 ideal as a very powerful “do-it-all laptop”, whether for playing games, enjoying multimedia entertainment, even for content creation.

This year, ROG also presents a very special new gaming laptop, the ROG Flow X13. This innovative gaming laptop carries a 13-inch screen embedded in a very compact 2-in-1 form-factor. However, the ROG team was able to present a FHD resolution screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz with a screen ratio of 16:10 which allows a more spacious workspace. The screen arranged on the ROG Flow X13 also has a touchscreen feature and supports the use of a stylus.
