Apex Legends Season 7 Ascencion, Presents Horizon Characters and Olympus Map

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – Respawn has revealed the first official details of Apex Legends Season 7, titled Ascension. Launching on November 4th, Ascension will introduce a new character, Horizon and the game’s third main map, Olympus. Horizon is an astrophysicist who discovered how gravity works, while Olympus is a fertile city floating in the clouds, which is also the hometown of Octane and Lifeline.

In the Ascencion season, players will also be introduced to the Trident, the plane that became the vehicle of the legends before fighting on Olympus. There’s also a new social feature called Club, which allows players to build a community.

As for ranking, Respawn decided to temporarily remove the King’s Canyon map from the map rotation. They promised to return the first iconic map to ranked some time later. There are no major changes other than the map change, because Respawn admits that currently he only focuses on Apex Legends crossplay in the ranked system.

Respawn via EA’s official website announced last week that Season 7 will launch alongside the Steam version of Apex Legends, but the Switch version of the game has been delayed until 2021.

“For those playing on the Nintendo Switch, we are still hard at work with the port. In order to do justice and make it the great experience Switch players deserve, our team needed more time. This year has presented new, unexpected challenges and we don’t want to rush things. Switch owners can look forward to getting their hands on Apex Legends next year. Of course, when Apex Legends launches on Switch, the game will come with support for cross-platform play, the latest seasonal content and full-featured similarities with other versions of the game platform.”
