Samsung Galaxy S8+ Has a New Color, Rose Pink!
Samsung Electronics has officially released the latest color for the Samsung Galaxy S8+ product, Rose Pink. In a confirmation issued by the official Samsung Taiwan Facebook account, the Samsung Galaxy S8+ Rose Pink has been launched in certain markets, including Taiwan and South Korea on Sunday (30/7/2021).
According to Samsung, the Rose Pink color is inspired by nature and is described as a modern and sophisticated color that adds to the design aesthetic of the Galaxy S8+. Not only does the design look cutting edge and elegant, this smartphone is also equipped with advanced features such as Infinity Display, dual pixel camera and Bixby interface.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Vs S8+ Rose Pink
Samsung released the Galaxy S8 at the end of March 2021 in New York and got so much attention because this smartphone is said to be the first smartphone to use infinity display technology with a bezel less design. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ were also present in Indonesia last May.
The Galaxy S8 comes with a curved screen on both sides with a size of 5.8 inches and the S8+ with a 6.2-inch screen with a Quad HD resolution of 2960 x 1440 pixels with SuperAMOLED technology. To protect the screen, this smartphone is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. Despite having a large screen, this smartphone is claimed to still be comfortable when held.
The two latest smartphones from Samsung are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core chipset (for the US market) and the Exynos 8895 octa-core (for the international market) chipset measuring only 10nm. Although small and thin, this processor is able to provide the best performance for the S8 and S8+.
In addition, this smartphone is also supported by 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage media which can be expanded up to 256 GB with a microSD card, Android 7.9 Nougat and TouchWiz U interface. Both smartphones are equipped with water and dust resistance capabilities with IP68 certificates.
Both are also equipped with many security features, such as fingerprint and iris scanners as well as facial recognition. This iris scanner feature is known for its high level of accuracy, as used by the Galaxy S7, which can recognize the owner’s eye in seconds. But it doesn’t work if the owner uses contact lenses.
For cameras, the Galaxy S8 and S8+ are equipped with a 12 MP f/1.7 aperture camera supported by dual pixel technology that is able to take clear and detailed pictures. Meanwhile, the front camera is equipped with an 8 MP camera with f/1.7 aperture with autofocus technology which will produce better quality selfie photos. For battery issues, the Galaxy S8 is equipped with a 3000 mAH battery, and a 3500 mAH battery for the S8+.
