Ragnarok X: Next Generation Closed Beta Test Coming Soon！

Jakarta, 23 April 2021 – Nuverse is pleased to announce that they will be starting the Closed Beta Test of Ragnarok X: Next Generation (ROX), an innovative mobile MMORPG game based on the classic masterpiece Ragnarok Online! Test will be launched in Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore from 23 April to 8 May 2021. With the pre-registration site up and running from today, players can also pre-register for the official version later.

Officially licensed by Gravity Co., Ltd and developed by The Dream Network, Ragnarok X: Next Generation invites you to explore a classic fantasy world. The continent of Midgard that you know is now displayed in a new 3D view. In addition, new gameplay, classic monsters and jobs and many other interesting features are waiting for you!

Ragnarok X: Next Generation adopts the classic Ragnarok system that is already popular and well-known by the public, with systems, mechanics, and characters familiar to every veteran of Ragnarok Online. The game retains 6 classic jobs- Swordsman, Thief, Acolyte, Mage, Archer and Merchant. With a choice of 2–2 jobs and transcendent jobs, you can set your playing style freely. With the unchanging style of Korean Chibi, your nostalgic favorite monsters, like Poring and Lunatic, along with impressive sights like the Fountain of Prontera, you can all rediscover in the world of ROX.

Apart from that, the game also features a number of new features that provide players with a new journey. Ragnarok X: Next Generation uses 3D models to build a realistic world. A number of stories on ROX have also been updated. Through more than 100 side missions, as well as more than 40 animations rendered in real-time, players can delve deeper into the world of ROX.

Unique Gaming Experience

Ragnarok X: Next Generation also offers a unique gaming experience during an adventure on the Midgard Continent. With the updated Unity 3D engine, dual joystick control scheme, and 2.5D and 3D dual perspective designs, you’ll have a better sense of control both in battle and while casually strolling the map. The new engine also features its own weather system, offering players a more realistic gaming experience.
