PUBG Official Announced for PS4, Release 7 December
After a long wait, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is finally here on PS4. Officially announced by Sony and PUBG Corp today along with the Pre-Order Bundle and its new trailer revealing a December 7 release date.
PUBG has been available on Windows PC and Xbox One since 2021. Although there are differences in terms of game versions, the main goal of PUBG Corp this year is to unite games from various platforms.
When released later the PS4 version of PUBG will immediately get three maps available on PC and Xbox One namely Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok – along with a snow-themed map that is highly anticipated this winter. Including the latest main PUBG features will also be available such as custom matches, event mode, ranked system, achievements and more. If you have a PS4 Pro PUBG will also support HDR.

Pre-Orders will be available in various variations, namely:
- Disc Edition for $29.99 USD (MSRP) / $39.99 CAD (MSRP) – Includes: Base Game

- Survivor’s Digital Edition for $59.99 USD (MSRP) / $79.99 CAD (MSRP) – Includes: Base Game, Survival Pass: Vikendi, 2,300 G-Coin Pack, 20,000 BP
- Champion’s Digital Edition for $89.99 USD (MSRP) / $119.99 CAD (MSRP) – Includes: Base Game, Survival Pass: Vikendi, 6,000 G-Coin Pack, 20,000 BP
