PUBG Mobile Reaches 1 Billion Downloads Worldwide

Telset.id, Jakarta – PUBG Mobile achieved an extraordinary achievement. Announced by Rencent, PUBG Mobile has reached 1 billion downloads worldwide.

The number of downloads achieved by PUBG Mobile is 1 billion times, not including the number of players in China. Just so you know, this game has a different version in China and is known as Game For Peace.

Reported Telset from The Verge, Friday (26/3/2021), this game made by Tencent has long been considered one of the most popular Android games in the world since its release in 2021.

In 2021 alone, this game earned the highest revenue reaching USD 1.5 billion or approximately Rp. 21 trillion. So it’s not surprising, with the positive achievements that PUBG Mobile has made over the last few years, they have also succeeded in getting 1 billion downloads.

PUBG Mobile Innovation

One of the main strengths of PUBG Mobile is the innovation it provides to players. Recently, Tencent announced a partnership with the film Godzilla vs Kong.

The film Godzilla vs Kong tells the story of a battle between two monsters from the evolution of a lizard named Godzilla and a giant gorilla named Kong.

In the film, Godzilla and Kong meet and destroy each other. The battle between the two will be so intense that it threatens the existence of mankind. This film was released in Indonesia on March 24, 2021 yesterday.

Through collaboration with the Godzilla vs Kong film, Tencent will present various events in PUBG Mobile and game modes themed on the Godzilla vs Kong film.

On another occasion, Tencent also created a classic map called Karakin for PUBG Mobile players on April 7, 2021.

Karakin is a small map with a size of only 2×2 km. The area is roughly half that of Sanhok and and is the same as Livik’s. In Karakin, there are 64 players who will jump into this map to fight for the Winner-Winner Chicken Dinner.
