One Esports Will Host the 2021 Major Dota Pro Circuit Tournament in June
One Esports doesn’t seem to be playing around in their intention to hold a tournament esports large scale. After two tournaments Dota 2 which is quite large, they will host the 2021 Dota Pro Circuit 4th Major tournament in June.
In collaboration with PGL, the tournament, which will be named the One Esports Singapore Major, will be held from 20 to 28 June 2021. Because it holds Major status, of course this tournament will be participated by the best 16 teams from all over the world, having prize pool US$1 million, and of course 15,000 Dota Pro Circuit points.
The format for the qualifications will of course remain the same, where there is one open qualifier, followed by a closed qualifier. Unfortunately, there are no details on the date or distribution or team allocation for each region.
In partnership with @pglesports, we’re extremely excited to announce the ONE Esports Singapore Major!
Taking place in Singapore on June 20-28, 2021 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, the Singapore Major will be the last Major before TI10#ONEDota2 #Singaporemajor #dpc #TI10

This is a tournament Dota 2 the third that is being and/or held by One Esports. When this article was written, they are also holding a tournament in Singapore and in April will hold the same tournament in Indonesia. Although not included in the Dota Pro Circuit 2021 series, the tournament which is currently taking place in Singapore is participated by big teams such as Evil Geniuses, Team Secret, Virtus.Pro, and many more.
The presence of the Singapore Major certainly continues the tradition of the Dota Pro Circuit which always holds one Major in Southeast Asia. Last year, the Major tournament in Southeast Asia was held in Kuala Lumpur, once again involving PGL.
So, will you be flying to Singapore to watch this Major in June 2021?
