Get ready! This is the Microsoft Flight Simulator Game Release Date
After going through such a long wait, Microsoft finally officially announced the release date of the latest series of Flight Simulator 2021 games. The flight simulation game is scheduled to be released on August 18, 2021.
This good news was announced directly by Jorg Neumann, as Head of The Franchise of Xbox through his official website. In his upload, Neumann said that the game, which was first launched in 1982, can already be ordered (pre-order) starting Tuesday (14/7/2021) via Windows 10 or via Xbox Game Pass for PC (beta).
“We are thrilled and humbled by the support and dedication that has driven the Flight Sim community over the past 38 years. Since the launch of the first ‘Microsoft Flight Simulator’ in 1982, we knew it was finally the right time to develop the next generation,” Neumann wrote in a blog post.
Carrying 4K Technology
From the observations of Kabar Games, the latest version of Microsoft Flight Simulator will come with 4K future technology. Where this technology as seen in the teaser looks so realistic that it is close to the actual condition.
By retrieving some information from the Bing Maps database and the Azure cloud service, the angle shots on the satellites also look like the real thing, which is simply amazing. In addition to presenting an amazing graphic quality, this game will also provide the sensation of playing visual games with challenging missions.
Just imagine, this game displays the landscape of 37 airports with the addition of billions of building accents. It’s not enough to stop there, the visualization of this game is also supported by the presence of mountains, weather and various animals. There is another built-in mode in the form of weather that allows you to adjust the temperature, humidity, and rain.
The image quality from the satellite image point of view also looks realistic, aka almost close to the original image or condition. The quality of the graphics presented in this online game itself can look like the real world because it is processed with machine learning technology.
Bugalaga Runway in Papua
To note, if you follow the news about Microsoft Flight Simulator regarding the presence of 30 airports, surely you already know that there is one airport in Indonesia that will enter the game. Yep, the airport is Bugalaga Airport, which is in Biandoga, Intan Jaya Regency, Papua. Unlike airports in general which are equipped with adequate facilities such as terminals for passengers, this airport is far from being decent.
In this flight simulation game, the airport in the Papua region is called the Bugalaga Airstrip. This is because apart from the surface it is still hard and grassy soil. The airport also has a small runway which is usually used for pioneer aircraft.
I don’t know what reason made the airport into Microsoft’s game. What is clear, its location is on top of a hill, about 5,700 feet above sea level. And the beautiful scenery makes Bugalaga airport very worthy to fill this Microsoft Flight Simulator 2021 game.
Comes In 3 Versions
The game made by Asobo Studio will visit PC users in a bundling with three versions, namely Standard, Deluxe, and Premium Deluxe. Of course, the more expensive the version you buy, the more choices of planes and airports you can access. Here are the details of the price of the three versions.
Of the three versions, the Standard version is sold at the lowest price, which is only Rp. 790,000. For every purchase of the Standard version, the buyer is entitled to one copy of the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2021 game in digital form and one game ownership license (Digital Ownership).
If you want to get even more facilities, such as five additional airports and five new aircraft models. Then you can buy the Deluxe version which is priced at IDR 1,180,000. As the highest priced version, Premium Deluxe offers the most complete content. Namely, free access to 40 international airports and 30 aircraft models. This version is sold at a fairly hefty price, which is Rp. 1,580,000.
