Dota 2 Hero Guide: How to Play Enchantress
Enchantress is a hero intelligence long distance with potential damage and very high aggression. He is a hero who is quite difficult to kill throughout the early game and has pure damage from ultimate which he has.
Initially, this hero was installed as jungle support who are quite active in doing gank in lane. But now he is more suitable to be a hero offlane which cannot be killed but can give pressure serious in lane.
The only weakness of this hero is the HP is thin and can be penetrated with burst damage. But if he is left alone, he is a serious threat to the game.
Excess
- Hard to kill especially against heroes melee
- Have pure damage big enough
- Movement speed tall one
Deficiency
- Vulnerable to burst damage because HP is very thin
- Easy to resist with spell immunity (BKB)
1. Impetus
Enchantress can make her attacks earn bonuses damage based on the opponent’s distance from him. The longer the distance between the Enchantress and her opponent when Impetus lands, the greater damage received by the opponent.
If you use Aghanim’s Scepter, Enchantress will get a bonus attack distance. It means distance cast Impetus also increases.
- Distance cast: 575 (725 with Aghanim)
- Bonus damage: 8%/12%/16%/20% Enchantress distance from her opponent
- Cooldowns: 6/4/2/0 seconds
- Where is the cost: 65
Impetus is the source damage The main and only possession of the Enchantress. However, this one source is capable of producing damage Very large. Not only that, Impetus also has a type pure damage which means it is not subtracted by armor or magic resistance.
2. Enchant
The Enchantress casts a spell on her opponent. If the opponent is a hero, then the Enchant will have an effect slow for a few seconds. If the opponent is creeps, then the Enchantress will be able to control creeps it for a few seconds before creeps it died instantly.
- Distance cast: 700
- Movement speed slow: 55%
- Duration slow: 3.75/4.5/5.25/6 seconds
- HP Bonus creeps: 200/300/400/500
- Bonus attack creeps: 10/30/50/70
- Bonus creep armor: 2/4/6/8
- Enchant duration to creeps: 30/60/90/120 seconds
- Cooldown: 20 seconds
- Where is the cost: 40/50/60/70
Enchant spell which is very strong and flexible even from the first level. slow at 55 percent for 3.75 seconds allows the Enchantress to fire Impetus freely.
Using Enchants in creeps also has its own advantages. If used early game, creeps what you control can give disable addition and swallow damage tower. Then when doing push, you can also use Enchant to siege creep opponent so you have two siege creep to destroy tower.
3. Nature’s Attendants
The Enchantress let out a group of little fairies flying around her. This fairy will give heal to Enchantress and other teammates in her area.
- Effect Radius: 275
- Number of fairies: 4/6/8/10
- Heal per fairy: 7/9/11/13 per second
- Duration: 11 seconds
- Cooldown: 35 seconds
- Where is the cost: 170/160/150/140
If Untouchable makes the Enchantress untouchable by physical attacks, Nature’s Attendants makes this hero unkillable without burst damage fast. If maximized spell this can give heal of 1430 HP. This did not include the two Talents for Nature’s Attendants that he could take.
With heal that big, the Enchantress can cancel damage which he took for granted and made his opponent throw away where for free. The only weakness of Nature’s Attendants is heal given indirectly, but gradually. That’s why burst damage is the only way to get through heal this.
4. Untouchable
Opponents that attack the Enchantress will experience a decrease attack speed
- Slow attack speed: 100/140/180
Untouchable is a nightmare for all opponents who rely on physical attacks, especially early in the game. How not, the Untouchable effect is active since the opponent tries to land the first attack. This makes the Enchantress almost unharmed by damage physical unless the opponent has spell immunity from BKB.
Aghanim’s Scepter: Sproink
If you buy Aghanim’s Scepter, in addition to getting additional attack distance, Enchantress also gets a new skill that allows her to jump backwards.
- Jump distance: 500
- Jump duration: 0.4 seconds
- Cooldown: 3 seconds
- Where is the cost: 50

Talent Tree
- Level 25: +20 heal Nature’s Attendants or +6.5% damage Impetus
- Level 20: Enchantments can be used to ancient creep or +165 slow Untouchable
- Level 15: +6 Fairies Nature’s Attendants or +40 damage
- Level 10: +20 movement speed or +12% magic resistance
Always take and maximize Impetus first and as soon as possible. This skill allows you to be able to defeat many heroes in your opponent thanks to its enormous damage output. This will make your opponent play more carefully which means it will be easier for you to take the last hit. In between take one Enchant point and Nature’s Attendance each.
After maxing out Impetus, focus your level points on Nature’s Attendance. Heal given will be very useful for Enchantress who is very squishy. In addition, the Enchant itself has given a fairly significant slow at level one. The HP bonuses and attacks to the creeps that you take are also usually not really necessary because you usually need the skills of the creeps more than their attacks.
Thanks to Ipetus and Nature’s Attendance, you should have no trouble surviving in lane. It means you don’t have to buy too much items regeneration. Unless you want to play very aggressively or face lane the difficult one, a set of Tango plus Healing Salve seemed more than enough. The rest you can use to buy items that help you dominate the lane like Blight Stone.
For shoes, the best choice for this hero is Power Treads. The stats given will be very useful, and the attack speed will help you throw Impetus faster.
After shoes, we move to items The main Enchantress is the Dragon Lance. One items This provides everything that this hero needs both attacking and defending. Attribute strength and agility given to cover the lack of Enchantress in terms of HP and where. Then the additional attack distance also makes this hero able to attack from a safer distance and produce damage which is bigger than Impetus.
Dragon Lance then can you upgrade to be Hurricane Pike. If you want to play even more aggressively, you can take Aghanim’s Scepter which gives stats and even greater range of attack.
If you need utility items or defensive, you can use Eul’s Scepter of Divinity, Linken’s Sphere, BKB, or Hood. Everything can save you from burst magic damage which is counter Main Enchantress. If you want to play even more aggressively, Monkey King Bar is your top choice. You can also upgrade attack speed you with Moon Shard, or buy disable additions such as the Scythe of Vyse.
As previously mentioned, Enchantress is lane which is quite strong. With items more aggressive in early game, you can get items to increase damage attack. That way you can excel in fighting over last hits and give pressure.
When you get back pressure, you can heal damage that you receive with Nature’s Attendant. That way you will automatically benefit when you do trading with your opponent in lane.
The only thing that becomes your weakness from the beginning to the end of the game is burst damage, especially burst magic damage. Therefore pay attention to taking your position if you face heroes like Crystal Maiden or Dark Willow.
Although quite squishy, you have damage output which is quite large. The only limiting factor damage what you can make is where that you have. But this should be overcome if you get the item where appropriate.
Kill your opponent by firing Impetus from the back line. Use Enchant if the opponent runs away. Make sure you are always on the back line because in addition to wanting to maximize damage, you can still die instantly from burst damage. If you accept damage and situation team fight go bad, use Nature’s Attendants. You can also use Nature’s Attendants after team fight so that your team can convert right away team fight be objective.
Enchantress is not lane pusher which is good because it does not have waveclear. But with Untouchable you can freeze lane and delay the effort push opponent. It’s just that this is not recommended to be done alone because you will become an easy target for the opponent.
When doing push and creepwave when it brings siege creep, feel free to take siege creep opponent to get boost extra when doing push. Not only that, don’t be lazy to see the contents of the forest. If there are creeps you need, feel free to pick it up with Enchant. A number of creeps a forest like Alpha Wolf will really help you in killing your opponent in team fight.
As long as you remain careful in taking your position and have where enough to continue using Impetus, you should be able to become a serious threat that must be overcome.
