CM Storm Trigger Review – Mechanical Gaming Keyboard

Captureaaa

CM Storm, a subsidiary of Cooler Master for gaming gears, also turns out to be presenting a mechanical gaming keyboard. This type of mechanical keyboard is indeed the target of many gamers lately, for reasons of comfort and durability of gaming gear products. The keyboard from CM Storm is called CM Storm Trigger. What are its features, watch the video first below:

The CM Storm Trigger that we review below has the Cherry MX Green switch type, where this type has the same clicking feeling as the Cherry MX Blue, but without the clicking sound that is characteristic of the blue switch. This keyboard also has an LED backlight as a sweetener, although it doesn’t have as much effect as other brand mechanical keyboards such as Corsair or Ducky, the CM Storm still has normal mode, breathing mode, and WASD gaming mode. We can also adjust the intensity of the backlight itself through the combination of the Fn keys provided.

Most mechanical gaming keyboards rarely include keys with macro functions. Now, CM Storm Trigger is trying to present macro buttons on 5 additional buttons placed on the left of the keyboard. We can set the functions of the 5 keys in the software driver, and later the programmable keys / macro settings will be stored in the memory keyboard, so that when we use this keyboard on different PCs, it will have the same macro function without having to set / record repeat.
