The Zenbook Flip line-up this time gets a very significant new touch. Not only physical and cosmetic, the latest ASUS ZenBook Flip UX461 will be directed to enter the premium Ultrabook category. Sticking with a 14-inch footprint, the ASUS ZenBook Flip UX461 is an ultrabook based on the Microsoft Windows 10 Home operating system. Featuring a 1920×1080 FHD screen resolution, it can be used as a regular touchscreen notebook, ultra-thin tablet, or any device in between. It weighs only 1.4 kg and is 1.3 centimeters thick. In addition, the battery life of up to 12 hours makes this device ideal for use in a variety of situations.

“ASUS ZenBook Flip UX461 inherits all the DNA of the classic ZenBook, but this time it is made more subtle so that it gives a solid impression,” said Galip. “It has a unibody chassis that is packaged from a sturdy aluminum slab, with the lid wrapped in the ASUS ZenBook’s signature concentric circle pattern,” he added.

The 14-inch touch display with Full HD resolution has been coated with In-Plane Switching (IPS) technology. Thus the color reproduction becomes much better and can also be seen from a very wide point of view without color gradation.

FHD-based displays also offer very high pixel densities, reaching 279ppi. This density is about 40% denser compared to other 14-inch sailing notebooks available in the market. This high level of clarity and detail is also combined with the brightness feature that reaches 350cd/m2, making the UX461 suitable for watching high-resolution films, digital photos, graphics or work documents with extraordinary detail.

The wide color gamut, up to 100% sRGB and ASUS Splendid technology enrich the color reproduction on ZenBook Flip UX461. This feature is very useful for various applications, including watching videos as well as office work or designs that really require color accuracy.

Not only that, video performance is also enhanced with ASUS Tru2Life technology which is able to automatically optimize the sharpness and contrast of each pixel in the video frame. Intuitive and accurate navigation is also offered by the spacious glass coated touchpad and supports ASUS Smart Gestures for various multi-touch gestures.
