Always Mute Until Delete Files
Instant messaging application, WhatsApp has just announced a new feature that allows users to search for media such as photos, GIF files, links, videos, documents, and audio in conversations. This good news was announced by WhatsApp via its official Twitter account on Friday (9/10).
This application is indeed a prima donna for smartphone users to be used as a means of communication with other people. WhatsApp users alone have now reached five billion worldwide. Unfortunately, only a few take advantage of the new features that WhatsApp brings.
We’ve made it easier for you to search through all your media (photos, GIFs, links, videos, documents, audio) on WhatsApp. You can now search for a specific contact, then choose the type of media and add keywords to more powerfully look through past chats and messages. pic.twitter.com/TvP113IqPX

“With this feature, users can search for media such as photos, GIF files, links, videos, documents, and audio in chats on Whatsapp,” said Whatsapp via a tweet on its official account, Friday (9/10).
To maintain competition in the communication application industry, WhatsApp certainly doesn’t want to lose to the others. After being acquired by Facebook, WhatsApp often brings new features to pamper its users. Here are the latest features of WhatsApp that are ready to accompany loyal users.
Used on 4 Devices at Once
If this feature is really present, of course this will greatly benefit WhatsApp users. How not, this feature allows users to use WhatsApp on 4 devices at once. Not only on Smartphones, users can even use it on other devices such as PCs and Laptops. Until now, this feature is still under development. And even if it will be present later, WhatsApp users will be the first to taste it.
Mute Forever
The next latest WhatsApp feature is to mute notifications forever or Always Mute. Previously, WhatsApp could only mute notifications in three options, namely, 8 hours, 1 week, and 1 year. Later, with this feature users can mute unwanted notifications forever.
Uniquely, this mute option does not only apply to groups, but also applies to personal chats. Reportedly, this feature was deliberately raised to change the mute option so far. To use this one feature, users simply go to the settings menu. In the settings menu view, select notifications then select mute as desired.
Auto Lost Messages
In addition to the two features above, WhatsApp will also provide a message service that can disappear automatically. Later, after the user has updated this chat application to the latest version, the user can set the messages that he wants to delete.
For example, if a user wants to delete a message after 7 days, WhatsApp will automatically delete the message. Not only one party, both the sender and the recipient will both lose track of the chat. Unlike other features, for WhatsApp Beta users, this feature is already available.
Delete Large Files
It seems that WhatsApp understands very well that most people are lazy to take the time to simply delete files such as photos, videos and documents. That’s why WhatsApp brings the Storage Usage feature. This feature will make it easier for users to delete files they feel they don’t need on the device.
However, this feature is not an automatic feature. Previously, the user had to filter files that had a large size. After that, WhatsApp will display several large files in each chat. Only then can the user delete the files in the chat. Again this feature is still in development.
As a messaging application used by many people around the world, WhatsApp always brings new features to please its users. such as new WhatsApp features that are rarely known to many people.
That’s the latest feature of the WhatsApp instant messaging application. Have you ever tried it? If not, please try and enjoy the fun. Good luck.
