‘Dual All-in’ Camera

This feature is one of the main advantages of the Galaxy Note 8 because for the first time a Samsung product is equipped with dual cameras, dual pixels, and dual OIS on the main camera. Samsung also uses a dual lens that actively captures photo objects.

The Galaxy Note 8 is also equipped with Auto Focus (AF) technology which makes the front and rear cameras able to track focus better. Samsung also presents a Selective Focus feature for the rear camera that allows users to choose whether they want to take back or front focus for their photos.

Infinity Display Technology

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 comes with a 6.3-inch screen with a screen aspect ratio of 18.5: 9 and carries Infinity Display technology. Although the size is larger than the previous series, Samsung claims the Note 8 is still comfortable to hold

This Galaxy Note 8 also provides a better gaming and video viewing experience by relying on a large screen. Just like the Galaxy S8 and S8+, on the Galaxy Note 8 Samsung has also removed the Home, Back and multitasking buttons on the screen.

Sophisticated S Pen

For the Galaxy Note series, the S Pen is a must. The S Pen feature on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 can not only be used to write in a wet state because it has received an IP68 certificate, the S Pen on the Note 8 also has the ability to translate text on images and photos.

In addition, the Note 8 also gets an upgrade for the Screen Off Memo feature which allows users to take notes even when the smartphone screen is off. If previously this feature was only available for one page, in Note 8 this feature has been upgraded to 100 pages of memos in the S Nite application. Live Message Features

This feature is a new feature in the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. This feature was created to support the capabilities of the S Pen and can be found in Air Command. With this Live Message feature, Galaxy Note 8 users can send messages in the form of text or images that will turn into moving images. However, this feature can only be activated if the recipient of the message has a smartphone whose messaging application supports GIF.

Bixby Virtual Assistant

Samsung has also provided the Galaxy Note 8 with the Bixby virtual assistant which is already integrated with other applications. Bixby is a combination of Artificial Intelligence (AI) with the entire system and Application Programming Interface (API) which is open to development by third parties.

After debuting for the first time on the Galaxy S8 and S8+, Samsung’s smart assistant can already be used in 200 countries. Previously, Bixby could only be used in South Korea and the United States.

Features of Apps Pair

Samsung presents a new application for the Galaxy Note 8, namely Apps Pair. This app will allow users to activate two apps at once which have been manually paired. When one of the paired applications is opened, a split screen display will appear to run both applications simultaneously.
