3 Latest Updates for the Miramar Desert Map on PUBG Mobile
The game company PUBG Corp. continues to strive to make the popular FPS Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds game the best on the Steam gaming platform. Therefore, they regularly update their games. Most of the updates applied by them are related to new features, as happened in this Miramar Map.
Instead of fixing bugs, the most recent update is the Miramar desert map. In order to improve the playing experience of the players, PUBG Corp. updated the PUBG Mobile Miramar Map with the addition of several items.
Increase the Number of Protection Buildings
PUBG Corp. updated Map Miramar by increasing the number of buildings and shelters. In addition there are features that facilitate vehicle navigation. Item results changed also in this update. Changes due to the occurrence rate of items in certain areas have been changed in order to balance. So in some areas the appearance of the item is getting better.
Ideally, players can queue up the map they want to play, but currently the map selection process in the PUBG Steam game doesn’t exist, and maps are drawn randomly at the beginning of the game. Unfortunately, players have a way of circumventing the Miramar map. PUBG Corp., in the end decided to try to fix the shortcomings that players complained about Map Miramar. Changes were made to allow players to move from the Erangel map to the Miramar map.
The update, currently still being tested on the PUBG game test server. The tests were carried out in conjunction with an anti-cheat solution that is currently under development. Because at the same time, PUBG Corp. hopes that if there are compatibility issues and crashes on the test server, they can be fixed together.
Removing Weapons on Spawn Island
Prior to this update, there was an announcement of an update to the weapon, namely the transfer of weapons from Spawn Island. This is bad news for players who like to pick up a gun and then fire randomly while waiting for the plane to take off.
In an effort to improve game and server performance, PUBG Corp as the developer removed all weapons from Spawn Island in a new update on the game’s test server. Players will also be spawned in several areas as well, not all in the same place.
“Via the latest patch, we can improve server and client performance by adjusting the visible distance when the character is in the air, says a new update from the developers.
“In the current patch we are deploying the starting location before the previous match, all players will appear together in a different location while waiting for the start of the match. A lot of interaction between multiple players in such a small area has a high impact on the server. To address this, we have introduced several areas where players gather before the game starts. As a result, performance, server and client side, has improved.“
By simply deploying players on the starting island and releasing weapons, the game runs a little better on PC. It seems too simple to be true, but the explanation definitely makes sense and will shed some light on some of the early-game lag issues that players are experiencing.
Update Anti Cheat
PUBG Corp. on another occasion said it wanted to test a new anti-cheat that was still in development, but needed to collect data on its stability and compatibility. Because of this, some PCs may experience problems during the test, which may cause crashes. Once the changes on the test server become stable, all map updates will be applied to the live server immediately. The date and time for the update will be announced later.
So, those were some updates on the Miramar Desert Map. Keep up with the Game News so you don’t miss the latest news about the PUBG game and other news about the games you like!
