A. Through Network and Sharing Center
1. Look for the WiFi icon in the lower-right corner of your Windows 10 taskbar. Then, right click and select Open Network and Sharing Center like the picture below.
Or you can use the control panel by opening the control panel and then clicking Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center like the picture below.
2. Next, select the WiFi connection for which you want to know the password.
3. After window Wi-Fi Status appears, select button Wireless Properties.
4. After window Wireless Network Properties open, select tab Security.
5. Finally, to see the WiFi password connected to your laptop in Windows 10, check the box Show characters. Then, automatically the WiFi password will be visible.
B. Via Command Prompt (CMD)
1. Open Command Prompt as administrator via the Power User Task Menu by hovering the cursor in the lower left corner and then right-clicking on the icon Start and select Command Prompt (Admin).
2. Then, type the command netsh wlan show profiles in the Command Prompt as shown below.
3. After you run the command, several SSIDs that have been connected or connected to your laptop or computer will appear as shown below.
4. Next, to find out the Wi-Fi password on a certain SSID, type the command netsh wlan show profile name=”SSID name” key=clear then press Enter to execute the command. See the example in the image below where the SSID name I use is naoTomori2.
5. After the above command is executed, it will display a lot of information from the SSID that you want to know the password for. Well, the WiFi password from the SSID, you can see in the section Security settings.
