At the beginning of 2021, Moonton officially held an international tournament for their MOBA game, Mobile Legends. In the tournament titled Mobile Legends M2 World Championship, 12 teams will compete against each other to become the number one team. esports competition Mobile Legends This has already started the first stage of the group stage which will be played offline in Singapore.

In this M2 World Championship tournament, Indonesia itself was represented by Alter Ego and RRQ Hoshi. The two Indonesian teams will compete with strong teams from other countries. Alter Ego itself is in Group C with Bren Esports (Philippines) and 10S Gaming Frost (Japan). Meanwhile, RRQ Hoshi occupies Group D with Evos SG (Singapore) and DreamMax (Brazil).

The M2 World Championship will be preceded by the Group Phase Phase One which will take place from 18 to 20 January 2021. The matches will continue through playoffs on 22 to 23 January and the Best of Three (Bo3) system.

The climax will take place on January 24 with two important matches, namely the low bracket final (Bo5) and the Grand Final (Bo7).
