Riot Games Presents an Anime Series Adapted from League of Legends

Riot Games, developer games League of Legends, will collaborate with streaming platform most popular, Netflix. The fruit of their collaboration is presenting an anime series titled Arcane. The anime will be adapted from games League of Legends and made the first series for Riot Games.

The news was officially announced via a tweet from Netflix Geeked at Twitter, Monday (3/5) ago. In a tweet on twitter, Netflix Geeked uploaded a video teaser from Arcane.

Riot Games itself is in charge of production. Meanwhile, the animation will be handled by Fortiche Production. Unlike Dragon’s Blood which is thick with anime style, Arcane seems to maintain the graphics like cinematic cool typical League of Legends. If it goes according to plan, Arcane will be released later this year.

Arcane will tell the story of two iconic characters namely Piltover and Zaun in the past. They are two legendary characters from League of Legends. Even so, it is not yet known the storyline of Arcane and which characters will be present in this series.

“This series promises to be a thrilling journey with incredible visuals that will captivate viewers,” said Dominique Bazay, Director Original Animation Netflix .

Meanwhile, Global President of Entertainment from Riot Games, Shuna Spenley, said that Arcane is a form of love letter to loyal League of Legends players. Arcane will also be dedicated to his fans who love food cinematic in more depth.

Previously games DOTA 2 has also released an anime series on Netlfix entitled Dragon’s Blood. They plan to present season both the impact of positive responses from fans. Arcane seems to be able to do the same or maybe better considering the creative qualities that Riot and League of Legends have in the video cinematic-his.
