Resident Evil 2: Remake Presents Old-school-themed Costume DLC for Leon and Claire

Can only be obtained by purchasing a Japanese PlayStation Store card.

In yesterday’s pre-launch live stream, Capcom provide announcements regarding additional content for Resident Evil 2: Remake. In the announcement, Capcom provided additional costumes for Leon and Claire, respectively. The costumes, which are named ‘Leon 98′ and Claire ’98’, are very unique because they look like graphics from Resident Evil 2, which was released for the PlayStation in 1998.

To get Leon and Claire’s costumes, players can buy Resident Evil via the Japanese PlayStation Store for 3,000 Yen which will be released together on January 25. Both costumes can also be obtained for free on March 22, which will come. However, it is still unclear whether this promo is for the Japanese region only or for the whole world.

Resident Evil 2: Remake will release on January 25 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
