PUBG New Game Targets Release on PC, Console and Mobile
It can’t be denied that PUBG became a pioneer in the presence of battle royale games which are still a favorite of gamers. This popularity ultimately made Krafton want to make a new game but still PUBG as the main base. Krafton is the parent company of Bluehole, PUBG Corp., and Strike Distance. They seem to be working on two other big new projects. One of which is The Callisto Protocol claimed to be the successor deadspace, targeted for release in 2022.
Not only The Callisto Protocol Of course, it turns out that Krafton is also preparing two new games that are still related to PUBG. Reported from Bloomberg, Krafton CEO, Kim Chang-han, revealed that they have two projects PUBG more is being worked on. One of them is still “related to” PUBG” developed for PC and consoles. And another one is a new battle royale game for mobile platforms that is still based on PUBG.
Both projects appear to have been in development for almost a year. With popularity PUBG fading, it made sense for Krafton to build something new that could renew players’ interest in franchise this.
Kim Chang-han himself is one of the people responsible for the battle royale phenomenon. He invited Brendan “PlayerUnknown” Greene to South Korea to change the mod Arma hers into a full game.
What do you think? Are you enthusiastic about two game projects based on PUBG which will arrive in the future?
