PUBG: Mobile Now Hits 200 Million Players

The mobile version of the famous battle-royale game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds commonly called PUBG: Mobile now has a number of players that rivals its rival, Fortninte. Tencent stated that PUBG: Mobile has now crossed the 200 million player mark with 30 million active players every day.

Reporting from Bloomberg, Fortnite as a rival recorded 200 million players worldwide on November 26, 2021. However, if you add up players from China, PUBG: Mobile will reach more than 200 million players.

This also does not include sales and active player numbers in the console and PC versions of PUBG, which were released before the mobile version.

PUBG: Mobile was launched in March 2021 by Tencent and recorded 100 million downloads four months after its release. PUBG is also slated to have a crossover event with Resident Evil 2, but it’s not clear what further details are for the event.
