Life Is Strange 2 Episode 1 Review - The Adventures of Brothers and Sisters Begin!
Life Is Strange is an episodic adventure game created by Dontnod Entertainment and released by Square Enix. After the tremendous success in 2021 and even getting a perfect score on Steam, recently Life is Strange finally got a sequel, Life is Strange 2.
In Life Is Strange we follow the journey of Max Caulfield, a teenager studying at a university. Throughout the game we are met by various issues such as cyber bullying, suicide, violence and stories about Max and his best friend Chloe.
In Life Is Strange 2, we are met by the protagonist named Sean Eduardo Diaz, who is currently in high school and also works as a sales assistant at the Z-Mart Superstore. Sean Diaz has a younger brother Daniel Diaz, and lives only with his father Esteban Diaz because his mother has died.
At the beginning of the game, Sean Diaz and his best friend Lyla plan to join a party that night and Lyla wants Sean to prepare various items that will be brought at the party later.
After everything was set up by Sean, he called Lyla via Skype that he was ready to party. However, there was an incident that happened to Sean which required him to leave the house with his sister.
Game Impression
In general, the gameplay presented by Life is Strange 2 is still the same as the previous Life is Strange series. However, the option to rewind time is not available.
Then for the graphics, Life is Strange 2 displays more beautiful graphics than the previous series. The angles in this game are very cinematic, making it look even more beautiful. Moreover, it is supported by music that fits perfectly with every scene in the game. In addition, the emotions, stories, and characters presented in Life is Strange 2 make this game very interesting.
For those of you who like adventure genre games with choices that can affect the process and end result of the game, Life is Strange 2 will certainly be interesting for you. Although this game is still in the first episode, the rich story will make you interested in playing it while waiting for the next episode.
But to make it more fun, it would be better if you played Life is Strange before so that you can better understand the storyline which is related.
