The popularity of this game is used by indie game developers to make copies of the game in the form of the Metal Slug game. However, the 2D version of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds which is similar to metal Slug has not been released and the name of the game is unknown.

Gamedaim also found this game through the video footage of the YouTuber Team Universe from Japan. This game has a storyline like PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds only different in terms of visuals that use a 2-dimensional style.
