After downloading the APK file, you need to move the file to external memory. This is meant to save space on the phone’s internal memory. But if your smartphone’s internal memory is large enough, there’s no need to do that.

The steps for installing the APK file are as follows:

  • Find the Free Fire APK file and tap it to install it. Wait until the installation process is complete.
  • Then just tap Done / Done, do not run the application.
  • Next, you need to place the OBB file or data file in the right location.
  • Usually files downloaded from third-party sources are still in the form of zip/rar. Therefore, my friend needs to extract it first before installing it.
