Delete apps on your iPhone, iPod, or iPad

How to delete applications on Apple devices can be done easily. You do this by following the steps below:

  1. On the main screen, press and hold on any icon. After all the app icons vibrate, an X will appear on the top left for each app that can be removed.
  2. Press the X on the icon of the application you want to remove.
  3. Then press the red button. This method will delete the app from your iPhone/iPad/iPod.

For users of iOS-based devices, there are other ways that can be used:

  1. Open section Settings then General, then iPhone Storage. Highlight to the bottom, and you will see a list of installed apps.
  2. Tap on the name of the app you want to delete.
  3. Then press section Delete App which appears on the screen afterwards. Press the same section again to confirm deletion of the app.

iOS is a type of OS that is quite flexible, because you can delete applications automatically, especially for applications that have not been used for a long time. How, go to the menu Settings, General, iPhone Storage and next to options Offload Unused Apps, select part Enable.

The automatic method above will not delete the data stored in the application, but it will really help save internal storage space on your device.

To delete an application in Windows 10, the method is as follows:

  • open Control Panel by right-clicking on the Windows logo in the lower left corner. You can also take advantage of the search feature and type ‘Control Panel’ in the search bar. Then press enter.
  • Menu access Programs and features
  • Select the program or application that you want to remove.
  • Then click option Uninstall.

For users of older versions of Windows, the method is more or less the same.

Delete apps on Android

Apps on Android can be easily uninstalled. All you need to do is access the Google Play Store.

  • open Google Play Store.
  • Tap the hamburger menu icon in the top left corner. Then select to My apps & games.
  • Then select the tab Installed Apps.
  • You will see a list of applications currently installed on your device. Tap on the name of the app that you want to remove from your device.
  • Then select the option Uninstall on the next screen.

Apart from going through Google Play, there is actually an easier option. In the app drawer section you will find a series of apps installed on your device. Press and hold the icon of the application you want to remove, then drag it to the Uninstall menu. Its position can be above or below, depending on each smartphone.

Removing unused applications on your device can provide additional space on storage memory so that the performance of your gadget is maintained, and reduces the hassle of a messy display due to too many applications installed.
