UFL, The Newest Football Game That Will Compete For FIFA and eFootball

GAMEFINITY.ID, Purworejo – Talking about football games, of course, it will not be far from the competition between FIFA and eFootball (formerly PES). Yes, both of them have long dominated football games on various platforms. However, it seems that these two games will have new competitors following the emergence of a soccer game called UFL.

Announced at the event Gamescom 2021 last night, UFL is a free to play football simulation game that carries the concept of “global online football league”. Later players can create their own club with 5000 licensed soccer players to compete with other players in online leagues.

This game has been developed since 2021 by a studio called Strikerz Inc. For now they have not shared the gameplay of this game, but this game will certainly use the Unreal Engine, the same engine as the eFootball game.

Similar to eFootball, UFL will be free to play with regular feature updates leaving the concept of a paid annual ball game. The developer said that this game will provide a fair play football experience and focus on player skills and skills no pay to win.

For licensing issues, there is only one club that has announced to be a UFL partner, namely West Ham United. However, the UFL is confirmed to have worked closely with FIFPRO and InStat to provide real-time player licenses and statistics.

According to Strikerz, UFL will release on all major consoles at this time, most likely Xbox One, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and Nintendo Switch. It is possible that the game will not be available on PC. There is currently no definite release date, but they will announce it in the near future.
