The results of the first day of MPL Season 4 week 7 - Aerowolf's chance to play-off closed

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Season 4 tournament has completed the match on the first day of the seventh week, Friday (4/10/2021), at XO Hall Headquarters, West Jakarta.

On the first day of the seventh week, there will be two matches between Aura Esports vs ONIC Esports and Geek Fam versus Genflix Aerowolf.

In the first matches, Aura succeeded in proving that they were better than ONIC after the second time they managed to win a landslide victory 2-0.

This result also makes ONIC who are the defending champions now have to be in sixth place out of eight teams after winning five wins and six defeats.

This situation forced ONIC to quickly get up and win points until the last or eighth week of MPL Season 4.

The reason is, now they are in danger of failing to qualify in the play-off round, especially the team directly below them, Geek Fam, managed to win 2-0 over Genflix Aerowolf.

This victory keeps Geek Fam’s chances of qualifying for the play-offs, although it is very slim because they must be able to wipe out the wins in the last three matches against Alter Ego, EVOS Esports, and Bigetron.

This result also closes the opportunity for Genflix Aerowolf to be able to appear in the play-off round because they will not be able to surpass ONIC’s achievement, even though they were able to achieve a landslide victory in all remaining matches.
