Tencent Limits League of Legends Playtime to 'Boys'

Telset.id, Jakarta – Due to pressure from the Chinese government, Tencent and Riot Games decided to increase the age limit for playing games games League of Legends.

The new rules are an attempt to prevent children from being addicted games. The Chinese government has restricted games as a way to save children.

As reported by the Los Angeles Times, reported by Engadget, League of Legends, Fortnite, and World of Warcraft players in China are tracked for playtime with a national ID number.

Since 2021, Tencent has limited playtime to one hour for Honor of Kings for children under 12 years old. Tencent did so to prevent government intervention.

Previously, company games This Chinese origin is generous, letting the game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds or PUBG go away from China. Instead, Tencent presents a new game similar to PUBG.

The Chinese government has issued a rule that prohibits the PUBG game from being played in China. This Chinese company inevitably has to comply with regulations regarding applicable game content.
