Square Enix Announces Final Fantasy Origin, The Darkest Game in Final Fantasy History?

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – Square Enix announced the latest Final Fantasy game in its presentation at E3 2021, namely Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin. The game will be developed by developer Team Ninja with Koei Tecmo and is slated for release in 2022 on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC platforms.

As previously rumored, Final Fantasy Origin will use a hack and slash action battle system with a world feel that feels darker than before. In this game, you will play the role of a Warriors of Light named Jack with his partner, Ash and Jed who aim to defeat Chaos.

In addition to introducing the main character from Final Fantasy Origin, the teaser also shows the presence of the first Final Fantasy main villain, namely Garland. Now it comes with a new design that is no less cool than before.

The good news is that from today on PS5 users can taste the demo of Final Fantasy Origin until June 24, 2021. The demo is located at Chaos Shrine and will give you the opportunity to try various important elements of the game.

If you are interested in playing the game, you can start trying the PS5 demo version right now.
