GAMEFINITY.ID, Purworejo – Football club Real Betis has an unusual way of announcing its new players. Instead of just introducing its players in the stadium, this one club uses a parody video inspired by the GTA game.

In a video titled GTA: Real Betis Edition shared on Twitter Meanwhile, Real Betis striker, Aitor Ruibal is seen on a mission to deliver Real Betis jerseys to his new player, Germán Pezzella. GTA here is not short for “Grand Theft Auto” as we know it, but parodied into “Grand Transfer Announcement”.

The video opens with Aitor Ruibal walking towards the Benito Villamarín stadium, where they mimic the popular “Ah Sh*t, Here We Go Again” meme from GTA San Andreas complete with his iconic walking style. However, in this video, Aitor Ruibal changes his words to “Oh boy, here we go again.”

When he got there, Rubial then received a Real Betis jersey and met his team-mate, Guido Rodriguez, before finally giving the jersey to Germán Pezzella. At the same time, the words “MISSION PASSED – SIGNED” appear with the same font and style as in GTA San Andreas.

So far, the video has been viewed more than 2 million times. However, in fact Real Betis is not the first time to make GTA parody videos like this. Previously, Polish club Wisła Płock had made similar videos One of the players to extend the contract is Piotr Tomasik.
