Google Increases Pixel 5 GPU Performance by 2x, Great for Gaming!
GridGames.ID – Google has just improved the GPU performance of its flagship smartphones, the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a.
On April 6, Google released the Android Security Update which specifically increases the GPU performance of the Google Pixel 5 by up to 2 times.
Launching from the official website Google.com, the Pixel 5 GPU performance boost is able to optimize certain applications and games that require intensive graphics processing capabilities.

The GPU performance improvement on Pixel 5 in the Android Security Update this time is quite significant.
Tech website Anandtech previously noted that the Pixel 5 produces significantly worse GPU performance than other phones that use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chip.
After this update, reviewer Andrei Frumusanu revealed that the Pixel 5’s performance has doubled from before.
This means that the Pixel 5’s GPU manages to perform as great or even more than other smartphones that ship with the 756G.
