Genshin Impact Password Recovery System Leaks Player's Phone Number!

It was recently reported that the password recovery system on Mihoyo’s website, which of course holds some information from Genshin Impact players, leaked the private phone numbers of several players.

According to what was posted on Reddit, from last October, players have reported some weaknesses in the Website.

This is evidenced by showing an uncensored phone number along with the player’s username.

Of course, this incident disturbed a lot of Genshin Impact players, because their personal phone numbers were just released without any censorship at all.

“If you go to the Mihoyo Account Website, then select forget password, and enter your username, the email will be partially censored. However, if you dial with a phone number, it is NOT censored at all” commented one of the players.

And in fact there are many more players who feel the same problem, not only in 1 player, and this is really dangerous.

Personal data as contained in the regulations, should not be disclosed by any party, and Mihoyo has not raised a voice about this.

One of the players even said that he had put random usernames on the website and could see their phone numbers.
