Garena Announces Free Fire Crossover with Attack on Titan

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – Garena announced a global partnership with Kodansha to bring Attack on Titan content to Free Fire. This partnership brings together one of the most famous modern Japanese anime series and one of the most popular mobile games in the world. The plan is that the crossover content of Free Fire with Attack on Titan can be enjoyed by Survivors in March 2021.

“’Free Fire’ players can immediately #Battleinstyle using the style of one of the popular Japanese fantasy anime – ‘Attack on Titan’. The series has captured the imaginations of people around the world with its unique and immersive narrative; We are very excited to bring this to the world of ‘Free Fire’,” said Harold Teo, Producer of Free Fire at Garena in his statement, Thursday (4/2/2021).

Loyal fans of the “Attack on Titan” series can find costumes with Survey Corps division themed colors when playing in the “Free Fire” game. The Titan character, the much-feared man-eating monster, will also be presented through a special costume. It doesn’t stop there, various exclusive ingame items such as weapon skins with the theme of this special collaboration will also be presented to all survivors.

This collaboration is also expected to accompany “Attack on Titan” fans around the world including Indonesia in watching the last season of the tragic, exciting and very tense anime. Garena’s collaboration with “Attack on Titan” itself is presented as a concrete form of Garena’s strategy to continue to improve the “Free Fire” playing experience through collaboration with leading names in the world.

Previously, Garena had collaborated and brought the popular Netflix series “Money Heist”, and the world soccer superstar character Cristiano Ronaldo as Chrono into Free Fire. Late last year Garena also collaborated with another Japanese anime series, One-Punch Man.

Meanwhile, the Free Fire OB26 update is ready to be released today, February 4. Server maintenance is ongoing, and survivors will temporarily be unable to access the game until the game update is complete.
