GridGames.ID – Despite its status as the most popular game in Indonesia, Mobile Legends often stumbles into legal problems.
It was noted that Mobile Legends was repeatedly sued by Riot Games, which is the developer of the popular PC game, League of Legends.
In its demands, Riot Games always mentions that the Mobile Legends game is copying the contents of the League of Legends game.

At the beginning of its release in July 2021, Mobile Legends received a lawsuit from Riot Games for plagiarizing the intellectual property of League of Legends.
This demand caused Moonton to delete the Mobile Legends game from the Google Play Store.
After that, on November 9, 2021, Moonton re-released the Mobile Legends game with a different title to impress as a new game and avoid Riot Games’ demands.

However, some time after Mobile Legends: Bang-Bang was released again, Riot Games also filed a lawsuit against Moonton.
Riot Games’ second lawsuit alleges Moonton has plagiarized various elements of the League of Legends game and applied it to the games Magic Rush: Heroes, Mobile Legends: 5v5 MOBA, and Mobile Legends: Bang-Bang.
