FIFA 19 esports tournament title, IVPL gets government support

The Ministry of Youth and Sports welcomes the opportunity to cooperate with IVPL.

Indonesia Virtual Pro League [IVPL] who initiated the FIFA 19 game tournament titled Asian Cup 2021 received full support from the government through the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Indonesia has organized this international esports event in collaboration with The AEFA from Japan.

Since its formation in 2012, IVPL has received permission from EA Sports to host the tournament.

After receiving this support, IVPL hopes that the government in the future will be willing to bridge the gap to make other prestigious events.

IVPL continues to play an active role in improving the esports industry in Mother Earth. One of them is the holding of a tournament called the 2021 Asian Cup: FIFA 19 11vs11.

“With the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, we hope to bring IVPL known to the wider community, as well as create other prestigious tournaments,” said IVPL CEO Rizki Darmawan, quoted from Liputan6.

Rizki hopes that the meeting with the Ministry of Youth and Sports will be the initial momentum to work with the government in developing the country’s esports industry in the future.

The 2021 Asian Cup itself has so far entered the knockout stages.
