Exciting! Telkom Holds PUBG Tournament Between BUMN Employees

Telset.id, Jakarta – Telkom Indonesia has a unique way of strengthening the synergy between state-owned companies. Namely by holding a tournament eSports which competes the game PlayerUnknown’s Battleground (PUBG) among SOE employees.

The event, which is part of the “Spirit of Millennials Games Day 2021” program from the Ministry of SOEs, aims to strengthen synergy across SOE employees.

VP Marketing Management of the Consumer Directorate of Telkom Indonesia, Aulia Marinto said that this event aims to strengthen solidarity between BUMN employees, especially among millennials.

“Spirit of Millennials is a program that fosters BUMN synergy,” said Aulia at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, Thursday (12/13/2021).

Aulia said, by strengthening solidarity between BUMN employees among employees, millennial is an investment, because they will become future leaders in the state-owned companies where they work now.

“BUMN will be more solid in the future, if the younger generation is solid. So, we feel that Indonesia needs a creative generation,” said Aulia.

Dian added that there were 35 to 45 teams participating in the match. Each team consists of four people. The event itself was held at Hall B JiExpo Kemayoran Jakarta today, Thursday, December 13, 2021.

“So we want to build togetherness between millennial SOEs,” he said.

In addition to BUMN employees, a PUBG competition was also held today for gamers professional. With the name of the National PUBG Grand Final Tournament for them. On this day there were 16 finalists competing from a selection of around 3048 participants. “This tournament has been running since last October,” he said.

Aulia has her own reasons for choosing PUBG as a tournament. According to him, PUBG is a games people’s favorite who occupies the top 5 games with the largest number of users in Indonesia.

“PUBG is one of the top five games the first is that there is one research that is the highest, namely Ragnarok, the second is PUBG,” he said.

In addition to the PUBG tournament, there are also Team Costume competitions, Individual Costume Competitions, Team Logo Competitions and Social Media Post competitions with no less big prizes. [NM/HBS]
