Dewa United Facilitates the Disabled Community to Achieve in the Esports Path

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – Dewa United Esports, which is a new club in the electronic sports arena, made a breakthrough by holding a tournament titled “Battle of Gods” which also collaborated with disability communities from various regions to participate in achievements. In order to socialize the agenda, Dewa United Esports made visits to disability communities in nine cities.

“We visited the Foundation for Children with Disabilities (YPAC) in Jakarta, Palembang, Bandung, Solo, Makassar and Surabaya. In addition, also to Tunas Bangsa SLB and YKDW Karawaci. We invite those who have an interest in esports to join the Battle of Gods tournament,” said CEO of Dewa United Esports David in a written statement in Jakarta, Thursday (18/2/2021), quoted from ANTARA.

In the tournament, there is a special category, namely PUBG Mobile Mode Solo, which provides 100 participant slots for friends with disabilities. For this category, Muhammad Rafi Sandi (Jakarta) won first place, second place went to Jarot Adrianto Putra (Makassar), and third place winner Andreas Deux Talitakum (Bali).

On this occasion the winners shared their experiences while competing. “Initially I joined this competition because I already knew the Dewa United Esports team. I believe I can win in this competition,” said Muhammad Rafi Sandi.

In line with Rafi, Jarot is also very happy to be able to take part in the competition with a total prize of Rp. 150 million. “I have been following esports since three years ago. When I was in school, I played games. I really appreciate this event. Thank you for providing opportunities for friends with disabilities,” said Jarot.

Not to forget Andreas, who also appreciated this kind of agenda. “There is no platform for us in the esports sector. This is the first time held in Indonesia by Dewa United Esports. Hopefully more places are given to us,” Andreas said.
