Save the Date! Square Enix Announce Final Fantasy XIV For PS5

The PlayStation 5 is arguably the next-gen console which is currently difficult to obtain due to the scarcity experienced. Not only that, the PS5-exclusive games are also not so much like the previous generation, but some PS4 game titles get free upgrades to PS5.

Lucky for those of you who already have a PS5 console because in the near future you will soon be able to enjoy new games to play. Final Fantasy 14 is a game that recently got an open beta session and the good news is that the game will soon get a release schedule for PS5.

Initially Final Fantasy 14 was planned for release in 2010, but was canceled due to getting bad reviews regarding performance. After the problem was declared resolved, Square Enix again decided to make Final Fantasy 14 from scratch and released a version for PS3 and PC in 2021 in the hope that it would be even better than before.

After a year of release, Final Fantasy 14 is then anchored to PS4. As for the PS5 version, Square Enix has officially confirmed that this game will be available tomorrow, May 25, 2021.

Interestingly, the PS5 version of Final Fantasy XIV will support 4K resolution with a high-resolution UI, as well as faster loading times. Not only that, other additions such as 3D audio and haptic feedback for DualSese will also be maximized.

With the PS5 having better specifications than the previous generation, Final Fantasy XIV is expected to provide smoother and more immersive gameplay than usual.

Along with the launch date of Final Fantasy XIV for PS5, tomorrow will also be the scheduled release of patch 5.55 for the MMORPG game itself.

The patch will get updates for a number of things from the Endwalker expansion such as Quest YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse and Save the Queen.

Meanwhile, the second part of Death Unto Dwan has also entered the patch 5.55 update with a new reward for completing the Triple Triad card collection. Well, for those of you who already have Final Fantasy XIV on PS4 you can upgrade to the PS5 version for free!
