PON XX Papua 2021 Match Schedule for the Latest Esports
The Garudaku platform has released the schedule for the PON 2021 or National Sports Week (PON) XX Papua for sports esports. The sporting event, which is held every four years, will finally be held after previously being postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Based on the schedule that has been released, the biggest sporting event in Indonesia will start on October 2 to October 15, 2021. The implementation date for qualifying esports will start on September 2, 2021. The following is the complete schedule for the 2021 PON matches for the sports branch esports.
PON XX Papua 2021 Match Schedule
The plan is that technically the esports will be divided into several series, including Provincial Qualifications, Pre-PON, and XX Papua PON. Where the first stage of the Provincial Qualification begins after the end of the registration stage, precisely on August 30, 2021.
According to KONI Decree Number 67 of 2021 regarding the determination of the exhibition sport at PON XX 2021 in Papua, registration for esports is open to the public and can be followed by anyone without compromising the terms and conditions. General Regulations for the 2021 PON Papua Esports Exhibition
The Executive Board of Esports Indonesia (PBESI) said that there will be several exhibitions that will be contested, namely Free Fire, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, PUBG Mobile, Lokalapa and eFootball PES 2021. There are regulations and general rules that apply in the PON Papua 2021 esports sport which exhibition competition:
- There are three series, namely Provincial Qualification, Pre-PON, and XX Papua PON; Provincial Qualification is a qualification process to find participants who are entitled to represent their respective provinces throughout Indonesia;
- Pre-PON is a competition between 33 provinces to compete for 11 tickets for the best provinces that will compete in the XX PAPUA PON event;
- PON XX PAPUA is a final event that will bring together 12 provinces (including the host province of Papua) that have passed to compete for the champion title;
- In the provincial qualification, ESI Province will send 1 representative of the best team who will represent their province in the Pre-PON phase to compete with each other for 11 tickets to be sent to Papua in the XX PON PAPUA event;
- The Pre-PON phase will be held in a group format of 5 maps and accumulated points. Where 33 provinces will be divided into 3 groups containing 11 provinces in each group. Ranked 1-3 in each group, qualify for PON XX Papua;
- In the wildcard round, ranked 4-7 in each group will be contested again with a 3 map group format and accumulated points. 1st and 2nd place in the wildcard round will qualify for PON XX Papua;
- All teams are required to read the Implementation Manual and Technical Instructions. Participating in PON Esports signifies that the team agrees to comply with all rules and regulations;
- Any team that violates the rules will be penalized and/or disqualified from PON Esports;
- All rules made in this Technical Guide by the PON Esports Committee are final and binding and cannot be contested;
- The PON Esports Committee reserves the right to change, delete or revise the rules outlined in this Technical Guide, without further notice. The PON Esports Committee also reserves the right to make judgments on cases not detailed in this Technical Guide, or to make judgments that even contradict this Technical Guide in exceptional cases, in order to maintain a fair and sporting match;
- By participating in PON Esports organized by PBESI, all teams and participants will allow PBESI to use their images (team logos, participant photos, interview videos, etc.) in promotional materials;
- If any provision in the Technical Instructions is invalid or cannot be implemented in part or in whole, it will not affect the validity of the other provisions. In lieu of an invalid provision, the provision that is closest to the intent, meaning and purpose of the provision will be used.
How to Register for PON Papua 2021 Esports Qualifications

- Visit the Garudaku site at garudaku.com
- Press “Login” then enter “Username/Phone Number” and “Password”
