LoL Team World Championship List Announced

There is the latest exciting game news coming from Riot Games regarding the roster of World Championship LoL team members on September 18, 2021. Game developer Riot Games has officially announced the complete list of members of the teams participating in this year’s League of Legends World Championship, which announcement they confirmed the speculations put out by the fans.

The announcement shows that most of the lineup of members of the teams participating in the League of Legends World Championship is not surprising. An example is the announcement from Riot Games revealing that SK Telecom T1 will be bringing in its two junglers. Heo “Huni” Seung-hoon will be the sole top laner of the team.

Speculation that Huni will attend this year’s World Championships has been the subject of many speculators. Huni has struggled during the Summer Split, with over-aggression being the cause of his downfall more often than not. Given Huni’s poor play, SKT opted to use Park “Untara” Ui-jin instead for most of Split.

However, surprises occurred from other teams, for example, EDward Gaming. The first seeded team from China put their trust in rookie Hu “iBoy” Xianzhao. Although he has only been a member of EDG for three months, iBoy heads into the LoL World Championship international tournament as he is the AD carry for his team, with EDG opting to bring in substitute top laner Zhao “Aodi” Ao-Di.

Another noteworthy substitute is jung Kang “Haru” Min-seung. He was chosen to represent the Samsung Galaxy instead of Kwon “Wraith” Ji-min. Another name is Taiwanese player Liu “westdoor” Shu-Wei for AHQ E-Sports Club. This Worlds will be Liu “westdoor” Shu-Wei’s Fourth World Championship in a row. This year’s World Championship will kick off on September 23, 2021, when Team WE and Lyon Gaming begin the opening play-ins.
