3 Ways to Know Your Laptop's RAM Type (Without Disassembly)

Three ways to find out what type of ram our laptop uses, without the need to disassemble.

PCs or laptops have hardware components that have a very significant impact on laptop performance, namely memory or RAM (Random Access Memory).

The larger the RAM size, the faster the performance of a PC or laptop and also the better the performance. RAM has a volatile nature which means that data will remain stored as long as the PC or laptop is on (active) and will be lost when the PC or laptop is turned off.

Based on the transfer speed (RAM speed), RAM has two variants, namely SDR (Single Data Rate) and DDR (Double Data Rate). DDR has several standards such as DDR1, DDR2, DDR3, DDR4 and the latest that is still in development is DDR5.
