Tencent Games Holds PUBG Mobile Tournament

Tencent Games announced the Indonesian PUBG Mobile Campus Championship 2021 tournament which will provide a total prize of 300 million rupiah.

The competition organized by MET makes Tencent and MET the largest PUBG Mobile tournament organizers in Indonesia because it is an inter-campus tournament that reaches more than 10,000 students from 40 universities in the country. This tournament is divided into three categories, namely the PUBG Mobile tournament, the best commentator competition, and the best trophy design.

PUBG Mobile is currently one of the most popular mobile games in the world. Quoted from GQ, PUBG Mobile has crossed 100 million downloads on Android and iOS in just five months after its release. Indonesia itself occupies the top three positions with the most PUBG Mobile players along with the United States and India.

This PUBG Mobile tournament will be divided into online and offline qualifiers, as well as on-site qualifiers. A total of 64 groups will compete in a league that will last for 5 weeks and the top 16 will compete in the final round. Registration can be done through the website http://www.pubgmobile.com/ID/PMCC/, by filling in your name, student identity, phone number, email and PUBG Mobile Character ID.

For online qualifiers, registration is done via the website and the maximum number of participants is 160 teams/qualifiers. The tournament mode that will be competed is to play 4 rounds for the first and second phases, then play 6 rounds for the final phase. For offline qualifiers, it is held in 40 campuses with a maximum of 25 teams/qualifiers. Registration is also via the website, 1 team is required to come from 1 campus and venue. The tournament mode that will be competed is to play 4 rounds, 2 TPP erangel and 2 fpp erangel for 1 day.

For the best online commentator competition at the university level, participants can upload videos when they comment on the game on their social media using the hashtag #PUBGMOBILECC #1Squad1Goal and submit it via the website. Winners will be announced on the website and take home a prize of IDR 2,000,000. As for the best trophy design competition, their work can be uploaded on social media with the hashtag #PUBGMOBILECC #1Squad1Goal. Winners will be selected based on the most likes and comments and have the opportunity to win a prize of IDR 3,500,000.

For PUBG Mobile Campus Championship 2021, the first phase is online and offline qualifier which will be held from November 2021 to January 2021. The second phase is online regional finals which will be held in February 2021 and the grand final will be held in March 2021.
