[Spesial TGS 2021] God Eater 3's First Impressions

Futuristic version of Monster Hunter?

Another playable game at the 2021 Tokyo Game Show from Bandai Namco’s booth, namely God Eaters 3. This game, which is more or less similar to Monster Hunter, provides several demos that visitors to TGS 2021 can try. For those who are curious about this game, you can see some of their gameplay here God Eater 3 Gameplay.

The demo provided by Bandai in this TGS has two versions, namely single player and multiplayer. In multiplayer you will be connected with three other players using the LAN system that has been provided, this game will be released on December 13 for the PS4 console and for the Steam version it will enter in 2021.

For the available demo gameplay, you can choose several missions for you to try with a predetermined time duration. We ourselves tried missions against monsters similar to Behemoth. Unlike Monster Hunter where you can defeat the monster yourself without the help of others, in God Eater 3, even if you are a single player, you will still be in a party with bots.

The objective of this game is similar to Monster Hunter, where you are required to defeat the monster and devour the monster to be used as your equipment. In this demo Bandai has prepared several weapons to try, such as Chakrams, Hammer, Dual Blades. Each of these weapons can use ranged mode.

Another thing of concern is the size of the God Eater 3 booth at the Tokyo Game Show. By displaying one of the monster figures in the demo, Bandai Namco’s booth at TGS 2021 this time felt very grand.
