Riot Experiments on Item Healing Effect League of Legends

Riot is experimenting with a series of changes to items life steal and omnivamp in the Public Beta Environment (PBE).

The experiment was aimed at reducing the effect healing and sustainability in League of Legends.

Developers are targeting changes to Vampiric Scepter, Bloodthirster, Ravenous Hydra, Blade of the Ruined King, Sanguine Blade, Immortal Shieldbow, and Eclipse items with nerf items, along with the Ravenous Hunter rune.

This change will increase the total price of each item on the list by 50 gold (with the exception of the Vampiric Scepter).

Meanwhile, for life steal the following items are reduced by two percent. Namely Vampiric Scepter, Blade of the Ruined King, Immortal Shieldbow.

Omnivamp Ravenous Hunter is also lowered from 1 percent + 1.7 percent stack Bounty Hunter to 0 percent + 1.5 percent per stack Bounty Hunters.

The changes are a welcome addition to the game. Whereas nerf for Ravenous Hunter, can unlock new options for a number of champions.

The full list of nerfs is tentative. Riot will apply these changes to Patch 11.6 which will be released on Wednesday, March 17, 2021.
