PUBG Mobile Limits Playtime to a Maximum of 6 Hours a Day

The popularity of the PUBG Mobile game is starting to have a negative impact. After being controversial because it was mentioned as one of the inspirations for shooting in New Zealand although it was ultimately not proven, the game also made many players addicted to no time.

One of them is in India. The Indian government even criticized and threatened to block PUBG Mobile for being too addictive. However, Tencent as the developer and owner of PUBG Mobile tried to overcome this by presenting a feature to limit playing time.

This limiting feature allows players to only play PUBG Mobile for a maximum of up to six hours per day. If the player has reached the time limit, he can only return to play the next day.

This feature has been tested on a limited basis in India since March 21, 2021. Regarding this feature, Tencent stated that they want PUBG Mobile to be played by its users responsibly. This limitation of playing time can also reduce the effects of addiction, especially for underage players.

In Indonesia itself, recently there has been a proposal to ban games with the battle royale genre. A number of people state that PUBG Mobile contains elements of radicalism that can be dangerous.

Regardless of what game is played. Common sense is really needed to avoid addiction and the influence of thoughts that can have bad consequences. With self-control, restraint and common sense, any game shouldn’t have a bad impact.
