Customers can play old school NES games such as Super Mario Bros 3, The Legend of Zelda, Dr. Mario and others.

At the start of the Switch release, Nintendo previously announced that they would be creating an online service for Switch console owners. After a long wait, Nintendo has finally announced that this online service will soon be launched this year. You can check the complete information on Nintendo’s official website.

For those of you who don’t know, this online service for Nintendo Switch offers interesting features for its customers, such as saving your game data through the system cloud. Customers can also play old school NES games like Super Mario Bros 3, The Legend of Zelda, Dr. Mario and others. Nintendo promises that there will be a total of approximately 20 NES games that can be played when the online service is launched. Nintendo reportedly will also add other games on a regular basis.

There are 2 types of membership for the Switch online service, namely Individual Membership and Family Membership. As the name implies, Individual Membership, the online service is valid for 1 Nintendo account while the Family Membership can accommodate up to 7 Nintendo accounts. For details on the price, you can see below.

One thing to note is that Nintendo will close all online features in the game when this online service is launched later. That means players who want to play online, are required to subscribe.

The online service for Nintendo Switch is scheduled to launch in the second week of September.
