Official, Mobile Legends Will Be Competed at SEA Games 2021
As we know that eSports is officially a sport that will be competed at the 2021 SEA Games. There are six game titles that will be competed in the event, which is held every two years.
These six game titles consist of PC, mobile, and console. One of the game titles that have been confirmed to be competed at the 2021 SEA Games is Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. The other five games have not yet been announced.
The news of the participation of the Mobile Legends game in the 2021 SEA Games was confirmed by a source who did not wish to be named.
He said, “The reason is because in the Philippines many gamers play games Mobile Legends.”
For information, eSports is included in category three of the list of sporting events for the SEA Games proposed by the Philippine SEA Games Organizing Committee or PHISGOC.
eSports joins various other sports, such as arnis, floorball, jiu-jitsu, kickboxing, kurash, lawn bowling/petanque, netball, obstacle course, sambo/vovinam, underwater hockey, and wakeboarding.
Later, the eSports team that wins in each category will get a medal. The selection of the team itself did not go through a qualification process but was directly appointed by the best Indonesian teams to join the national training.
The 2021 SEA Games itself will only be held on November 30, 2021.
