First Laptop With Cannon Lake Appears Online : Lenovo Ideapad 330

Lenovo, one of the largest partners for the laptop market, has the latest Ideapad 330 model available from one of the official distributors in China online retailer, JD.

The Ideapad 330 is a low-end unit both in price and design. The bottom configuration is only 3299 CNY, converting it might be around $449 excluding tax. This model will use a 10nm Core i3-8121, a dual core processor based on Cannon Lake and running at 2.2 GHz on the base frequency. This CPU is paired with an AMD Radeon RX 540 2GB, which this processor does not have integrated graphics. According to the original source, Computerbase.de, this processor has a turbo of up to 3.1 GHz.

The Ideapad 330, based on Cannon Lake, is a 15.6-inch notebook, but with a 1366 x 768 resolution and a TN panel. The stock configuration will use 4GB DDR4-2133 memory and 500GB 5400RPM.

This unit will come with a weight of 2.1 kg, and a thickness of under an inch at 22.7 mm. The keyboard used offers a full number pad and has several connectivity options such as a gigabit Ethernet port, SD card reader, 3.5 mm jack, Kensington Lock and CD / DVD drive.
